About Studio 45

Studio 45 is an award-winning studio serving the Roanoke Valley, and is dedicated to educating and training students in the art of dance. Through classes, performance opportunities, and Elite classes, students from beginner to advanced will learn various aspects of dance including technique, choreography, proper etiquette, and terminology.

Ryan Bartley

Ryan Bartley


Ryan Bartley is the primary instructor and choreographer at Studio 45. She began dance at age 3 and was on traveling teams from her second year of dance. Ryan has taken home numerous awards for choreographer of the year.

Katla Esarey

Katla Esarey


Katla is a graduate of Staunton River High School and teaches several courses at Studio 45. She began dancing at age 11 after being a competitive gymnast for five years.

“Miss Terri” is the smiling face that welcomes you as you enter the doors at Studio 45. Not only is she the owner, but organizes classes and competition details but most of all, helps ensure a positive, loving and educational dance environment.

Elite dancers perform at Globetrotters game

Studio 45 Elite dance team performed at the Harlem Globetrotters game on Thursday, February 26th.  The girls prepared for weeks under the direction of Studio 45 choreographer Ryan Bartley, performing the dance for thousands at the Berglund Center in Roanoke.
